Binibining Pilipinas ('Binibini' is a Filipino word which means "woman," "miss" or "young lady") is a beauty contest held annually in the Philippines. Binibining Pilipinas is an entirely different pageant from Miss Philippines or Miss Philippines Earth, a rival contest of Binibining Pilipinas, which promotes environmental awareness and sends its winner to the international Miss Earth beauty pageant.
